Meet Kelly O’Hanlon, MS, LPC - Owner
Founder of Authentic Minds Psychotherapy, Kelly provides a compassionate and affirming space for adolescents, adults, and older individuals to explore grief, trauma, and patterns that may no longer serve them. Her approach is rooted in a person-centered philosophy—she believes clients are the experts of their own lives and walks alongside them as they reconnect with their values and build a path forward. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, she supports clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, grounding in the present, and developing more nurturing, sustainable ways of being. She values authenticity, curiosity, and helping others rediscover what brings them joy and meaning.

Under her care, clients can expect a safe, nonjudgmental environment where they are empowered to explore their thoughts and emotions, identify unhelpful patterns, and cultivate practical strategies for growth, resilience, and well-being. She honors and embraces clients of all bodies, genders, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, and abilities.
Outside of Therapy:
Outside of the therapy room, Kelly finds peace in nature and hiking, immersing herself in open-world RPG video games, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her three beloved cats: Potatoes, Krrsantan, and Tauntaun (yes—if you’re a Star Wars fan, you’ll get the references!).
