About the Role

Authentic Minds Psychotherapy is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT) licensed in Pennsylvania to join our growing team as a 1099 independent contractor. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow a meaningful caseload while working within a supportive and values-driven practice.

Clinicians have the freedom to build a full-time or part-time schedule based on their availability and professional goals. This position is ideal for therapists who value independence while still benefiting from strong administrative, marketing, and clinical support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments and provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions

  • Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans

  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation and progress notes

  • Maintain ethical, legal, and professional standards of care

  • Collaborate with colleagues and community providers when appropriate

  • Participate in team meetings and clinical consultation

Qualifications

  • Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in Pennsylvania, in good standing

  • Current malpractice insurance (or willingness to obtain prior to start)

  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

  • Commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming care

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred, but not required

Compensation

  • This is a 1099 independent contractor position

  • Commission-based compensation per completed session, estimated at $47–$63 per hour

  • Paid twice monthly (on the 15th and last day of each month)
